This is for users with high throughput (production) laboratories who like to see the statistics (STATS) for the operation.
Printing means a serial output on Port D1 in a printable form and STATS means statistic information. The statistic info comes from the Event Log. STATS are available for :
|Start day, hour to Stop day, hour||Keyboard||ST.DAY H DAY H|
Before the keyboard commands become active, the operation must be enabled via USB SYSDEF.
Of course, the D1 port can be connected to a PC and the data can be transferred to a spreadsheet. The prerequisite is a RS232 port.
LIMS AND PRINTING
All units in the CAL3K range are equipped with a powerful output (Data#1) which is useful to connect to a LIMS computer or to a printer. This output is ‘unsolicited’ which means that no action from the LIMS computer or the printer is required: the output happens spontaneously.Learn More
The LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a global term describing that you need to collect all the data and manage, correlate, reject and compute the results. A more practical approach is that you need to connect the calorimeter to a computer and get the data in to computer with a minimum of fuss.Learn More
CONNECT A PC TO THE CAL3K
The CAL3K has three ports to connect a PC or laptop to. These ports are: USB. Distance approx. 2 meters. Ideally suitable for laptops. A USB cable is supplied in the 3K-1-KT (USBCABAB), RS232 DATA D1 Port. Distance approx. 20-50 meters. Speed: 1.2 - 115.2Kb...Learn More
