Automatic Temperature Control (ATC)
Automatic Temperature Control Feature
The ATC (Automatic Temperature Control) surrounds the vessel. It has a heater built in and a very low mass. It is cooled to ambient by the fan. It follows the vessel temperature, so that the temperature losses are exactly the same as it was during the calibration. This feature, together with the NEW Bayonet Vessel, is a true breakthrough in calorimeters.
The vessel temperature sensing is optimized for 0-70°C operation. It is linear over the range. The 70°C limit is a little useless because the vessel is too hot to handle (or you have to issue gloves to the operator).
